    Default Pole holders

    Pole holders
Pix 1 shows the back of the boat. The holders are mostly 4" PVC. My fishing partner is 80 yrs old, so I made this to minimize his having to bend over. Note the needle nose plier. These are 11" long to help him pick things up wgen dropped. The PVC pipe slips over the pedestals in the front and rear to hold my cover up.
Pix 2 show one of the front ones in place. It holds 3 rods and I use a short one on each side to use along side the boat.
Pix 3 shows the front one out of its holder which is the cleat. The medal piece on the far end slips into the cleat.

They are simple but I've been using them for severral years with no problems.

    Default Ibnfshn......

Now, thats what I call innovative thinking......not sure about the "redneck" thing. The rod holders made from 4" schedule 40, your tarp rod from what looks like 2" pvc fitted to your chair sockets are both great ideas. I'm still using my bow rope stretched from bow to stern to "peak" the tarp. lol ! Lets see now, where did I store all that pvc? Got to get to work on that!
