Deer Hunting

Did my part in controling the deer population. Killed 2 does yesterday. Hunted Monday morning, Tuesday morning - did not see hide nor tail. Hunted last night and seen 15 - apparently moving at night. Dropped 2. My oldest son went along for his first hunt - talk about hooked. We had 2 buck walk into us - spooked at 5-10 yards. He was psyched.

Glad deer season is over for me, short of butchering them.
Back to normal buisness - caught 30 crappie this morning at Elk City. Caught them suspended at 12 feet over the river channel on pink.

Hey Kansasmedic, were you fishing the X, from posts earlier this summer thats one hotspot. Good job and Thanks for the deer pop. control. I use a 90 Dodge Grand Caravan to hunt them, I went down in the ditch after a couple em the other night, but didn't score.
