Mentoring....personal rewards

Some of you may remember me posting pictures of a kid in my old green Jon Boat 5-6 years ago. This is a kid (and family) that Brenda and I too under wing and showed them the way with kindness and love. They have come a long way and turned their lives around.

Today at our church, Cody was pinned Eagle Scout. He was the first in this troop to ever achieve this award. This is a special year as it is the 100th anniversary of The Boy Scouts.
A special badge was presented with 100 in the center. There want be another badge like it for another 100 years.

Just wanted to share this with all. Brenda was teary eyed.
