Default Normandy Lake and the Cooler Months

    Howdi guys ,

A hardcore catfish guy here . My three favorite fish to catch are Big Catfish , Big Stripers and Crappie (Big ones are OK there too .. lol) ... I am a very good Spring Time early summer Crappie chaser , however in the winter I am a bit lost .. I know they are deep and relate to structure , after that I am a bit lost .. I am very close to Normandy -- It would be very nice to be able to find them this fall and through the winter ... I fish a lot in the winter , however the catfish trips are very involved and looking for some nice trips closer to home ... any advice for me ?

Fatboy from Manchester here. I fish Normandy quiet a bit. I usually put in at fire lake and go up past fire lake bridge. Anywhere along that straight stretch where you can see the cell phone tower is good. The rock wall on the right is littered with blowdowns, fall downs, stumps, rock piles, etc. Plus, it is deep water on that side.
