Went fishing today with my wife and didn't do to bad again. The temp was 32 this morning when we got the boat ready to go. It was 42 when we got to the lake to start fishing. It got to 70 and sunny by this afternoon with a 5-10 mph wind out of the SW. The water temp is 64 degrees yet here. We started with minnows at the Marina docks and then switched to jigs when they slowed down a little. We would drop the minnows down to the bottom and then slow crank up and would get hit on the way up after it left the bottom. The jigs we trolled mostly along the dam in 10-12 fow. I used a chartruese 1/8th oz jighead with a white creature body and a 1/8th lead jig with red hook and with a black and white solid jig body. My wife used a 1/8th lead jighead with a white crappie slider paddletail body.
We ended up with 36 Crappie, 4 Bluegill, and a Small Mouth Bass. We had a good day on the water and then My wife helped me clean the fish when we got home. Not a bad days work. We had quite a few that were 12 inch.

DO-GOODER EXTRADINAR :p
Good job, what times dinner. Blackies, man I love those blackies.
All lakes raise a foot when I step in the boat
I agree with ya, I love to see the blacks show up. They are just beautifully colored. They seem to fight a little harder when you catch them. EB
