    Thumbs up fishing 11110-7-10

I went fishing again today. WOW, twice in one week. The wife had to work today, so I took my youngest Son and a Neighbor along with me. The wife don't want me going by myself anymore since all the heart problems. We had another good day again today. We picked up some minnows at the Marina and started fishing with them. We caught a few in the Marina around the docks and boats and I decided to run down to the dam again and try it down there. I used the same jigs as I did the other day and the others used the minnows. We got right on them again this morning and would pick up a few on each pass across the dam. The larger fish came on the jigs today. We quit fishing about 2:00 and came home and cleaned the fish and it wasn't even dark yet! I like the idea of not cleaning the fish in the dark with a light.
We ended up with 26 all together, 24 Crappie and 2 Perch. That should be enough with what I have already, for our neighborhood fish fry on Sunday. I was worried that I wouldn't have enough fish for my yearly fish fry for the neighborhood this year. I only had 88 fillets in the freezer last week. That isn't to bad for 3 days worth of fishing.
I will post some pics tomorrow. EB

These are the pictures from yesterday's fishing trip. The water temp was 66 degrees. On Tuesday the temp was 61. We caught all the fish while trolling in 10-17 fow. The larger fish came on the jigs. My youngest Son fished with me yesterday along with a neighbor. EB

Yellow Perch YUM. Haven't had any in a long time. Wish that they would grow down here. They are alot of fun to catch especially the big jumbos.

Looking good, 88 might just be enough for a good sized fish fry for the whole neighborhood.
