    Default Bibb County Lake

Has anyone ever fished for crappie at the Bibb County Lake?
I have bass and catfished several times but always seem late for the crappie, I am not going to be late this year.

    Thumbs up Bibb County

Bibb is full of crappie and they seem to be alot on dozer piles down center section of lake. Bibb just reopened for the year last week and I made it down sunday for a dawn to dusk crappie trip.
Caught 8 crappie a few were slabs.
All caught off point or most on structure in deep water.

    Default Great

    Glad to hear that!
I am going to try it out in a week or two. My fishing buddy hit it last year early by himself and caught a lot. He threw back the one's under 9". He did not realize that the Bibb County Lake has a special limit.
Were you fishing minnow or artificial?

    Default Bait @ Bibb Co

Caught most on little fishe's, trolling over dozer piles, go out from ramp towards main lake, at mouth of cove and take a right--then use locator to find submerged humps --dozer piles--in 20-25' of water down center of lake towards feeder creeks. the piles run all the way down that part of lake.
Road Runners will be the hot jig real soon trolling.
