    Default Good Day With Dad

Dad and I caught 17 crappie today and had a great time. Some were caught on jigs and some with minnows in the river in deep tree tops 6 to 8 foot deep.

Great times great pic. Enjoy it while you can. My dad has been unable to get in and out of the boat for a couple of years now, plus failing eyesight has kept him from fishing with us for over two years. I miss having him along. One week from today he will turn 98 so we are blessed just to still have him!

Very nice catch and they will make some great eating. The best part is you got to spend some time fishing with your Dad.

Way to Go! Couldnt get any better fishing with your son, catching fish. My kind of fishing. Did you handle the anchors? My son fishes with me a lot and he got tired of pulling up anchors, bought me 2 electric anchors for Christmas 3 yrs. ago. Sure does make things simple and hopefully life a little longer. Fishing the Rivers and Structure anchors are a must. I bet you'll have allready planned another trip. Good Luck. BB

Fishing with a friend for life - can't get much better!
Memories last a lot longer than tackle.
