    Default Messed Up!!!

Well we went camping with my wife's brother and wife from Thursday - Monday and While loading the car forgot to put my tackle bag and rod in the car (I moved it so it wouldn't get broken).

Well although I couldn't fish myself it turned out more than worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Three families with young kids were fishing from one of the docks and the Mom's and Dad's were not big fisherman so it was what GrandDad had sitting left in his camper.

The youngest ones got cheapo setups from the camp store but the older ones had Grandpas stuff and it was a little rough.

I had a blast just helping them clean up an old 33 so it worked really good and showing Dad's how to get fish off without getting stabbed with fins, to helping bait some hooks, and showing them how to cast better.

The smiles/giggles/yells from the kids when they caught a sunfish or bluegill made it TOTALLY WORTH not having my tackle. It was a great week end!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like lots of fun to me. Glad you had a good time even if you didn't get your stuff there to use.

See leaving your tackle was all part of a bigger plan I guess, right?!!

Some of my greatest fishing trips are the ones I never really get to fish because the kids are along and the fish wont stop biting!!!!!!

I find it more fun to watch the look on the grandkids face than actually catching one myself
