Make it deep water. Water temps are approaching 90 deg. Fish deep. The fish are probably holding tight. Just a thought. If I knew how and where i would go!

We decide to try Oconee. We got there about 6:30, we started fishing tree tops. We were getting some bites, but they were real light. We caught a few and then started to try some docks. The fish were still hit so light, you couldn;t hardly tell they were biting. We carry home 13 Crappie and a few Bream. I try out a new small spinner bait, that I'm making for Bream. They seem to be working, really good. The Crappi were good size, but the Bream were small.

A G-Loomis or St Croix rod will help you feel those light bites. That is what makes them worth the money 1

We have been using a Cherrywood, light action. It seems to work good.

you would think they are deep with the water temps . set sensitivity on depth finder so thermocline shows they will be just above it .in blacksher they will be 12 to 15 ft.usealey.
retired and now i will always fish
