The walmarts up here are the same way. I've just about given up on going there for any fishing supplys.

Not much here in Warner Robins either. We need an Academy down this way.

Same with me. I usually just wait until I need a few things and then I make a 40 mile trip to Academy Sports.:o

My local WM carries very little decent tackle. They have a small selection of decent line and hooks, but that's about it. Fortunately, I live about 20 minutes from Bass Pro.

our walmart actually carries a nice variety of crappie jigs and jigheads as well as nibblers but crappie fishing far exceeds bass and cat fishing in this part of arkansas
I twist and turn at nite have thoughts of bobber shooting under surface

Remodelling and the new layouts have really turned the local WalMarts
here in Knoxville into very poor fishing gear sources. We also need a good
Academy here...I think the closest one is in Chattanooga.

Our one here carries very little fishing gear and what they have is mostly useless junk..
IMHO, I go to chattanooga or order all my gear..
