    Default Douglas Report 1-24

Water is still up and still muddy in some places. Started at McGuires Creek again this morning with no luck. Went back to Muddy Creek. Several fishermen float fishing but not catching any so we trolled and picked up 17 nice crappie. Good day considering the water conditions and the 25 mph wind.

No one fishing at Swanns/Nina today. Hopefully the water will be in good condition there for this weekend.

Yeah wind was terrible, but a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.
Rick I use fly's and minnows.

    Question Color of jigs

Charger-I Know you stated you used blue w/ chartruse head. But, is blue light colored are dark. Have found some that are a very light blue, but nothing darker. Have just about every color and combination there is. But, dang old crappie don't like any of them.
    Sincerely,

Hey Flyer, I only use light blue. They have always worked for me. In fact, I seldom use anything else. On rare occasions I will use a white fly with red head.
