    Default Thermocline

Anyone use the Thermocline in your techniques to fish for Crappie in the Summer? Any idea how deep this is for say Oconee or Sinclair? If Crappie do indeed suspend at or near the Thermocline (I understand this to be a cool depth with very little oxygen below this level) it seems to me you could troll, placing your jigs at this depth, and do well. Just a thought. Any comments?

Dynamite seems the work good to find Crappie. A freind and I went to Oconee last Sat.. We fish tree tops. The way the fish were around the trees, I think you could probably troll and catch them.

Finding the level of the thermocline seems to be important when using cranks. I have been using them the last few times out with good success. Thermocline was steady at 16ft, you could see it pretty good on the graph.
