Default Bream Are Still Biting Great on Blackshear

My dad called me before 6am this morning to get up and go bream fishing. I alrteady had the boat ready and had the crickets. We didn't fish that long but we were still able to catch over 30 nice bluegills and kept 28. My dads sight has gotten bad and I have to tell him when his cork goes under but no problem at all. We decided to leave by 8:30am cause the water lice had already started.

No not really. All of them were good hand size but not what I would call trophy bream.

Where is a good area to start looking for bream and seen any good mayfly hatches yet?

There has been a few mayfly hatches but I have not seen them myself. A good place to start to look for bream is along the north side of the long railroad tresttle down in the east corner. You will see in that area tall grass and it has a sandy bottom. Try that out and let me know how ya do. I use crickets mainly.
