What are good average speeds for Longlining, Slow Veeticle Trolling and Crankbaits thats most use and for which season. If we get enough accurate data, I'll put together a spead sheet and post it as some general guidelines to use.

I go .5 to 1 mph on the gigs. and 1.7 to 2 on the cranks, I adjust the line to determin the depth of the lure. this is with electric motor or gas.
