    Default need a little help

I'm sick of towing my boat from the Illinois side of St. Louis in my 8cyl truck down to Ky lake and catching little to no crappie. However, I love the lake, and have heard too many good fish stories to give up on it. Can anyone turn me on to a guide that I can fish with in the next couple of weeks that is known for winter fishing for crappie? I was also hoping he may guide out of a marina that rents a boat for the following day. Any area would work, Jonathan, Blood, Paris, Benton... This way I can drive my 4cyl car and if the fish aren't on, I'll just turn around and go home. Prove to me Ky lake is a quality crappie fishery (please)

    Saluki,
I recommend that you contact Richard Williams of Williams Guide Service. He lives in Paris, Tn. and guides out of Paris Island Resort. It is hard to get a date in March-May due to the repeat customers and the quality and quantity of fish caught. His website is crappiewizard.com. Give him a chance and he will find the winter fish for you.

Danny Dolack guides out of Irwin Cobb and Paradise Resort. Dan really
knows the Blood River area very well. I've fished with Danny a couple of
times and he does a very good job.

Malcom gets my vote. I've fished with him and he is very knowledgeable. Funny guy too!
