welcome from Arkansas, Murf
Just want everyone know that I'm new to this site and new to fishing for my favorite fish. The Crappie. I have only been fishing since last May. I'm here in NC and for the most part fish Jordan and Harris. Last year I did not do that well when it came to getting them, but hopefully this year I will do better. I want to thank you in advance for the helpful hints and information you have already given me through your post. I look forward to reading and learning more. I know I will start this Friday with the Boat show at the Fairgrounds.( I will be the one with the hat that says Fisherman in Training.) Thanks to the post that I have already read I know there is one. Forgive me for the long intro, but look forward to reading and receiving advice as well as given the little that I have.

Welcome Murf!!! It's great to have you on board! You can not only learn on here by asking questions and reading current posts, but using the "Search" engine, you can get alot of answers from previous threads also. Hope you find what you need!
Catch and Release: Catch the slabs and Release the little'uns
Welcome Murphdog. I too fish Shearon Harris and Jordan! Probably fish Jordan 5/1 over Harris though.
The guys over on the NC board sometimes post about Jordan too.
I usually stick to the Ebeneezer landing area, particularly down in Beaver Creek.
They say they've been hitting up around the Farrington Rd area though. I might try there Thursday.
Good Luck!
Oh, and you might try the chat area. The folks in there are friendly and there's always someone talking about fishin! They usually hang out from about 9-11 EST.

Welcome ,good to have you here.
anchorpuller,
What part of Va do you fish in? I'm from Chespeake. I just left there on the 3. Wanted to do some fishing but missed out.
Anchorpuller,
Are you going to the boat show on Friday. I was planning on going fishing Friday off the bank. I had to put my boat up for the winter. Dump mistake I know. I still might go after the boat show.
Hey Murph, welcome in!
