Smile Need a little help from you alam. folks??

:D I will be coming thru Alabama in about 2 weeks headed to arkansas to do a little duck hunting. What I'm needing is some info on the road and the quickest way to memphis from I-20. If I go from birmingham on Hwy 78 or go down to tuscaloosa and go across on hwy 82 ?? My question is which is best to travel thru any constrution or problems alike on either route? Any help will be truely appr. and hope the fish'n is good for you all also.

I have gone that way several times. I always used 78. We toured Elvis' birthplace in Tupelo and Graceland in Memphis. It is a good drive. That is what mapquest recommends also. Have fun.
