Default my new not so secret weapon

these are off my new mold. the molded bait is the bottom bait in the pic. I added a core color ( what I had already heated up ), eyes and re dipped in clear plastic. I know, should have made a red bloodline. lol these were the first attempts at this with this bait. they are 2 inches long

Those look good. I would like to see some with a pink core color. Where I live the crappie are going crazy over anything pink.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Keith, did ya get a chance to try 'em out over the weekend? Some fine looking baits for sure.

We sure did, went out sat and long lined them. We ended the day with 60 fish. The tails worked just as they should

Where I fish at the water has a bit of a stain. I usually do fair with chart tails or lime green tails. Does the clear colored tails work well in stained water?

I fished yellow creek, it has that name for a reason. lol I think the vibration from the tail helped a lot with the water color. At about mid day we would get a lot of lite bites, we found that if we dropped the rod tip back down and give them a falling bait (while trolling ) they would hit it again enough to get the hook. I do make them in solid colors as well. copper being a good one for stained water
