    Default bluegill


    me and my son got out to the pond for few hours after the rain.we had 17 all caught on beetle spins and road runner. this was the biggest of the day

    WOw! that gill looks like a soft ball. Bet he fought like crazy! good catch. Looks like its time to get some crickets and worms ready.

    i measured him today when i cleaned he was 10 inches that may be the biggest one i ever caught.not real sure, i have never measured or wieghed one. my grandad and i stocked the pond about 16 years ago and this is result. seems like we have an over stock of bass but it seems to be working out for the brim. the only thing i hate is the channel cat we put in are gone! to much fishing pressure i guess,but we have speckled cat that have grown large. i can not seem to understand pond management,there is alot more to it than i thought there was. everyone seems to enjoy the ponds,i guess thats whats counts.
