    Default Blue Wave Boat Factory

Me, Darryl Morris, Crappiestalker and Jerry Blake made a road trip to the Blue Wave boat factory in Checotah, Oklahoma on Monday. Jerry and Darryl were nice enough to take time out of their busy schedules to go up there and tour the plant with us. We met with Steven Parks whose father started the company. We just went through the factory and looked at the building process and discussed any custom work that I wanted done. Never once did I hear, no we can't do that. Great guy to with work and I am very pumped after we sat down and drew up the exact layout of the boat the way I wanted it.

I went with Jerry when he picked up his boat this last spring, but I didn't make it into the plant then. This time I did and I'm very glad. It was well worth the trip. I learned alot about boats and how they are put together. No doubt, the Blue Wave process makes a very solid product that looks to last for years and years. Maybe one of these days when I grow up I'll get one too.

Those pics remind me of my younger days working in a fiberglass shop. Boy do I not miss that.

Hey Fatboy, are you looking at buying a fishing boat, or a cruise ship? Those boats in those pictures look absolutely huge.
