Shoals Creek yesterday

caught a nice mess of fish yesterday in Shoals creek. Thanks to my parents for my new GPS. THe fish were hanging in 18-20 feet in a small creek off the main channel. The water was slightly warmer in the creek out of the wind and was just a 19 foot flat without much cover, just big schools of shad they were following. Every time I found a ball of shad on teh depth finder, I caught a fish. It got to the point around late evening that when I saw fish on the depth finder, I usually got a bite. Brought home 13 keepers and had 3 throw backs between 2 of us in 2 different boats. Not bad for a couple of hours. Took them to my grandad who really appreciates those fish.

That is good to hear. Sure wish the wind would lay .
