    Default Blackshear?

Does anyone know if the crappie have moved up in the cypress trees to start spawning or have they done their thing and headed back out to deeper water?

I went yesterday afternoon and caught 20 or so, kept 8, longlining in 9 fow. Seen boat pitching trees and they said they didn't catch anything when they left. I think I caught fish on every jig color in my tackle box.

I just got home....caught 10 keepers, threw back another 15 or so that were dinks. I was longlining in 6-10 ft of water....color of the day was blue with chartruese tail all my fish hit that color. Only had 2 females with eggs rest were males in thier spawning colors.

Heading back in the morning to try it agian.

How bout the night fishing down there....i havent been there but once this year and was hoping to find some shellcrackers and crappie shallow then hit some dock lights after dark for a change of pace. Just trying to decide b/w there or sinclair. I know where to catch some on dock lights on sinclair but wanted some different scenery....
