    Default Beetle Spins


    Do any of you long line guys use Beetle Spins? I used to use them sometimes in Florida with pretty good success. Just wondering if they work up here. Thanks!!

    Default Beetle Spin? No, but spinner yes

    Never used a beetlespin for LL trolling, but I have used the gold colored spinner and attached a 1/16 red ball head and curly-tail jig (which I guess is about the same as a beetle spin) and caught fish. I've also long-lined minnows on a 1/16 jig head with the spinner and caught fish on that. I think it works best when they are aggressive. Good luck!!
