All the main creeks will have spawning crappie. We did really good last Thursday but the females were still at the creek mouths and deeper. Still good size fish caught all the way up to the dead grass along the edges. Even caught a few flippen a jig to the edge of the grass. Males were black as ever and ready for the females. Go early and troll high then work deeper and then work the banks. Look for the boats, but we caught a lot of fish behind others that were not catching at all. If you fish with minnows, you may want to get bait before you get to the lake. Florence was out of minnows last Thursday. Good thing cause we didn't need them.

Maybe you could contact Smitty or jafacman, They were or are supposed to have a Slabfest there this weekend. The purpose of the slabfests is fun and helping folks out. Why not join in? Slabfest.org is up on the main page.

Eufaula is absolutely on fire. Large No and large fish. Patula creek is hot. I am getting great reports from all over the lake. Docks to creek ledges. Looks like anything GREEN and or meat. Dont miss out . It is like a Chinese TET !

I've had extremely good luck the last 2 week-ends...plenty of fish shallow from Grass creek down to Bustahatchee....
