Default How long will the crappie be shallow??

Im a bank fisherman, at least until I can afford a boat lol. How long will the fish be shallow?? Took the kids out today to a cove with lots of grass and they were able to catch several each fairly quick. I think they are hooked now lol. Now to find some crappie with a little bit more meat on 'em. :D

at least another week or two...since crappie spawn in waves....the biggest spawn first then the smaller ones....I have seen them shallow as late as May....but its usually dinks that late.

Ive caught white crappie as late as the end of May. It all depends on water temp.

I guess I need to get my sonar looked at...seems to be out of calibration.

Nice to meet you out there, jroz.
