went fishing on laneir friday up around yellow creek. took my gf's neice (first time crappie fishing). between the 3 of us we caught 50 fish.
she had a blast! when she fishes her dad usally takes her bass fishing. but now she loves crappie fishing alot better she said.(wonder why,,,lol)
all fish were caught in shallow water 6 fow and hitting near the banks.
biggest 1 was 1.5 lb. most of the others were 10 - 12 inches. still had a blast!
next weekend i'm gonna try to get to oconee, hopefiully nothing will come up.

Congrats sothunfried on a great catch, the lake sure is beautiful. Here's a few that were caught at Lanier, Sat. I heard there was a 3.8 lber caught earlier last week waiting to certified as a Lanier record.
