    Default Oconee - 4/2 & 4/3

Fished coves from lick creek to sugar creek and kept our limit both days. Friday afternoon was pretty crazy, it was just as fast as you could reel em in at old salem. Shot docks half the morning friday and didn't do anything. Started trollin and found em after lunch. Had a limit by 5pm friday and by 12:30 today. Had 70 good filletin fish and rest were 1/2-3/4lb. Fish are in 12-20' of water early and move up to the shallows later in the day. Hot color was blue/white grubs.

I hope the fish go ahead and spawn and get spread back out b/c there aint no tellin what folks that dont care about limits are catchin up there now.

Amen on culling fish, catch some to take home and eat and throw the rest back so they will be there for the future, talked to several people on the lake this past week that caught there limit and took them back to the truck and went back out and fished more,it ruins things for everybody, and one was a fireman, get that.
