    Default New Coffee Can Condos...pics

As simple as it gets. You can take apart and assemble in your boat if you like.

Not finished yet. Gotta dirll some sinking holes in cans. The T at the bottom is to tie a brick or something to sink it with. About 2 bucks to build from Lowes. I plan to use some bamboo later. These are my plastic "targets" for the Lowrance vs Humminbird Showdown.

Great idea. Everybody needs another use for coffee cans.

Cool idea. I wonder if you could fill the cans with concrete?

    Cane Pole,

Why not drill a hole in the PVC and run your wire/rope throught it to attach your weight and not use the Tee? Then you can drop the cost down about 30 to 50 cents.

    Default Great idea

Hey my friend. That looks fantastic. I am going to place some of these myself. Think you can create a tight fit for the PVC and just add cement to the coffee container? That would solve the weighing down issue.

Mix your cement thick. If still needing something stuff in a bit of paper in the holesand let the cement set up. Should do fine.

Ceement = concrete in the construction trade. I would suggest duct taping or caulking (corking) the joints that you want to fill with "ceement".:D
