Help for Haiti

Did you know you can send help to Haiti, simple and quick?

Take out your cell phone. In the place where you punch in a phone number, put the number 90999. In the text message, type in HAITI.

You will soon receive a response text asking you if you wish to donate 10.00 to the relief effort. You then type in the word YES.

Your cell bill will have the 10.00 charge on your next bill.
It's a very small price to help out, but if WE ALL DO IT... The lord will surely bless us.
This is a donation directly to the American Red Cross International disaster relief effort.

Just to keep an idea of how much we fishermen participated, please post a reply here if you do donate!

Just saw Secretary of State Clinton on FOX News, discussing this very method of donating. She indicated that over $3 million had already been donated in this manner. She also outlined the other relief efforts that are underway, and are coming, directly from the US. We already have Marines on the ground, the 82nd Airborne is on their way, and Navy and Coast Guard hospital ships are en route.

I am NEVER more proud of this nation than when it lends a hand to others who are in such dire need.

Please remember to pray for those in Haiti.
