Not Crappie!

While crappie are my main passion, smallmouth fishing has always flipped my switchs, also. Finally at 52 years of age, myself and 7 great buddies are going to Dale Hollow in Jan. Way back in the early 80's, my best friend and I planned a trip to "Billy Westmorelands" home lake, but life and kids got in the way. Unfortunately my best buddy is having mitral valve surgery on 12/29 and cant make the trip. He will be there with me in spirit though. I hope to have some good float n fly pics for all when i get back. wish me luck!

Good luck with the small mouth at Dale Hollow. I crappie fished up there twice this year. I am going back up there in June....fellow Crappie.com member Dennis Bowers lives up there at Gunnels Camp just out from Byrdstown, TN. He is a crappie guide there. I got to tell you....that is the prettiest lake that I have ever been on.

Hope you guys get em!!!!!!! I used to watch Billy's show all the time and have a bunch of episodes taped, I also have his book which is very informative.
