sure Are Good Lookin Stringers Where Did You Keep Your Crank Baits Before You Grew The Beard Lol
Well, I have been asked several times how late in the year will I fish
crankbaits... Here are a couple of Fall crankbait trips, the one with my
daughter was Oct.6 '02, the other was Nov.25 '01. Yep, thats a couple
of bream in one of the pics, don't know what they thought they were doing
with the big ole' bait - maybe the were "sweet" on it and got too close?
That November trip is one I'll never forget, There were three boats tightlining
minnows out over the channel, I got to trolling back and forth about 100'
each side of them, and listening to them talk. At first, they were grumbling
that the fish weren't biting - after I got the depth and color figured out, and
started catching them, two of the guys got mad and left - don't you just love
doing that? :D The third came over and talked to me, I showed him what I was doing, he dug around in his boxes and found a crankbait, and he caught
a few too.

Can't belive you would do that to the guys.. Scare there fish away.HEHE With the old motor running, And then catch the fish that would not bite for you.
Sure hope I don't have to fish near you like that. Would hate to cry as you catch all the fish..
When do you start giving us all tips on how to troll?
Pete
Oh, I was still using the electric motor for all my trolling back in those days -
I won't go in that close to someone usually with the gas motor running,
unless I know them, anyway I'll show just about anybody what I do most
of the time - most won't believe it even when they see it, and a lot just
would rather not fish that way - to each their own :D I'll try just about
anything to catch a fish, even if it gets disaproving looks and comments.

Shoot Frank, if she smiled half as much as Jeff does, I would have to keep a nervous eye on her also. I have seen that innocent grin before I think. Nice posts Jeff, keep it up.
Jeff always wearing the B.D.U.'s . My kind of guy.
