    Question Sweat Stains

Anyone know a sure fire way of removing sweat stains from caps? I have tried vinegar combinations, Tide, stain removers, etc..

    Any help?

Years ago someone told me that running your cap through a dishwasher would clean them very well. Just set it in the top part of the dishwasher and run it with the same cycle used while cleaning dishes. I use a form like this to hold the shape while running the washer. I don't recall where I got my form but did find this on the net.

Surprisingly enough it does a fairly decent job of sprucing up caps for me.

I use the ball cap buddy and they work very well to keep the shape of the hat while in the washing machine or the dish washer either one. I don't like wearing a hat that the crown has been broken down. EB

    Default Give it a bath

I take my hats to the shower with me and use my back scrub brush on my hats. Just hold the hats to the side of the shower, apply some shampoo and scrub the chit out of it, then rinse. This is the best solution by far.

Be sure to hang the hat on the shower head to dry. It annoys Brenda.:p:p

I have had some hats that nothing would clean, but most I can get clean with Simple Green. Spray the hat and let it sit for about ten minutes. Spray again and use a brush on the tough spots. Rinse out and let dry.
