I used to use the "Stick Guards" ... but, gave them up in favor of a "pre-rigged" weedless jighead. Oldham's Surelock jigheads were my first choice .... and I stocked up on them. Now that prices have gone up quite a bit - I'm glad I did. I have also incorporated the P&S Custom Tackle weedless jigheads, into my arsenal ... and am actually using more of them, than the Oldham's, for the simple reason of variety of sizes/weights. Oldham's Surelocks only come in 1/16oz. And while I do tend to use 1/16oz jigs more than any other weight ... there are times when a different weight jig is the ticket. Paul Mullins (P&S Tackle) makes weedless jigheads with the "brush" style weedguard ... either white or black "brush". He can custom make them with various hook sizes/colors & head weight.

Gentlemen, appreciate the welcome, orderd my Stickguards today from that outfit in Springfield MO. Not familiar with your product CP, just always had great luck with my guards for jigs, or live bait. Those weed guards either metal or plastic just don't seem as forgiving to me as the guards, and I fish a lot of cedars. Anyway got two dozen bags, should last me a couple of years, lol.
You can go to bass pros web site and do a search, they have them..however they have the wrong picture of this product shown. When you get to this iteam read the reviews at the bootom of their page. You will see this is the stick guard you are looking for ,even though they are pictured wrong. Hope this helps
