    Smile Allison's fish...

This past weekend, a pretty nice one. She sure does look serious, doesn't
she? You wouldn't know by looking at the picture that five minutes earlier
she was busy lassoing my rod holders with the bow line
Have to catch one at least every five minutes to keep her attention

I'd be pretty serious too with a fish like that one!
I know what you mean about keeping thier interest. I usually bring a tub of nightcrawlers just for something to let em mess with.
Hey.. I really like your boat! That looks like enough room to move around in it.

    Nice fish.

I like your boat set up too. Whats is the make and model? I'm looking to get new boat soon.

Very nice, can't wait for my son to be old enough to take him (he's 2).
Don't wanna sound like a smart azz or anything but I'd put a life-vest or something on her.

Yep Anchorpuller, I've thought about getting them a box of worms or
a bucket of crickets for Christmas - they would rather play with them than
fish. They like feeding leftover crickets to the chickens too. Funny to
watch all of 'em "pile on" over a cricket.
Crazyhorse, it is a '97 model SeaArk, 18', 52" bottom. I got it plain except
for the aluminum floor and sidewalls (doubled) Put wiring, seat bases, carpet
and all in myself. Built the low deck in the front later, and notched out my
back seat so I could turn around without having to straddle the bench seat.
Swore I'll never do that again, too much time working on it when I could have
been fishing, and I don't have the enthusiasm I used to. Been through a lot
though, and still a trusted friend. I get ashamed of myself for wanting to
trade it off - but it just doesn't handle the rough stuff like I want.
Wannalearn, you are right about that - I do need to keep one on her, and
myself too. We wear them when running, but usually end up taking them off
fishing. Need to invest in some more comfortable jackets!
