GDP has nothing to do with unemployment, jobs, or anything else that really matters to most of us. IF we still had most manufacturing in OUR OWN country it MIGHT lead to jobs down the road. Since we've exported or outsourced the majority of it we're just screwed.

Washington just doesn't have a clue what it takes to correct a capitalist system of economics. Even the educated pointy heads don't seem to understand. Everyone wants to make it sound more complex that it really is.

The hardest part about understanding capitalism; The realization that it really is just as simple as you think it is.

The problem with Washington not being able to under simple capitalism is the fact that most of them have become Socialist. It's past time to vote them all out to show them that we want to work, earn money, and buy what the hell we want. We don't need no gubberment to tell us what car/pickup to buy, what Dr. to see and what health insurance we want or don't want. What I can't believe is that some I run into still think the government is the best thing since slice bread. Wait untill their paycheck is cut in half or gone all together. I wonder if that will wake them up. Better yet what will happen when obama's stash runs out.

I shouldn't be in here, my blood starting to boil!

Most was government spending that was one time spending. It will be just a blip. When Government realizes they have to create the atmosphere for job creation, We will have a constant growing GDP. They can't create meaningful job creation. only the private sector can do that. they are trying to break aq cycle with taxpayer money. The cycle is too big for them. Socialism has never worked and it never will. CF
