    Default Seasonal flu shots...

Brenda went to get her seasonal flu shot and they (dr.) were out. Wow.

The government is so dependable. Who is the shot Czar?

It isn't the govt, it's the manufacturers. All supplies of the flu shot are low. Besides you probably need to wait another week or so anyway for best effectiveness.

CDC underestimated the demand for flu shots by 50 percent. The government is involved.

Tom it's not an underestimate, it's the new math they pushed down everyone throats. It's caused many problems. In my day if you need 1 vaccine for 1 million people you divide one million by one and you get the number of units needed. It doesn't work that way today, just don't ask me how it works or rather doesn't work. Another problem, If Bobby had 10 dollars and spent 5 dollars how much does Bobby have. In my day Bobby had five dollars left. Today Bobby can spend 20 dollars and have a negative 10 dollars in his pocket. As soon and the gov-ment learned about negative dollars there went the farm. It won't belong before our money will have a minus sign before the value. (-10).

Track the availability of the flu shot for your county in Tennessee.

For the seasonal flu or the H1N1 (swine flu)?

I think I read somewhere that folks born before a certain date had most likely already been exposed to the swine flu virus and should have a built up immunity to it?

Here is a web site that explains why people over the age of 65 have less risk of susecptibility to H1n1. They have probably been exposed to very similar virus strains and are less likley to become infected. With limited supplies of vaccine it makes sense to vaccinate higher risk groups first.
