    Default Record unemployment here...

Carroll County Tennessee. 16.5 percent. That is based only on the ones now receiving entitlements. I am sure the actual number unemployed is much higher. Sad.

One Georgia county just hit 20%.

Obama's chief economic adviser said this:

“The level of unemployment is unacceptably high,” National Economic Council Director Larry Summers said Friday. “And will, by all forecasts, remain unacceptably high for a number of years.”

I'm very interested in what the unemployment rate will be at year end. See here:

All the polls show that Jobs should be the top agenda, not health care. Sad change.

    Default unemployment...

Something to consider in regards to unemployment...there are some who lost their jobs and are now seeking early retirement (social security and whatever else they have) in the wake of this economic crash. People who would of continued to be productive in the work force but because of age and lack of jobs have nothing else to turn to. Definitely would increase the unemployment rate if those numbers were figured in.
