    What headlights would you recommend for a boat?

    good ol clear fog lights for good clear nights with no fog? yellow for the fog maybe one of each with a switch for each. that's the way we do it and a gps helps

    leds are great but not for this application, they just dont have the candle power to do the job. i personally tried to light an office that was no bigger than 10 X 15 and when they were on you had to srtike a match to see the switch to turn them off.

    my suggestion would be to make a bracket for your forward seat and mount a KC Daylighter on it wire it complete with plug and drop the light on the pedistool after removing the seat. a word of caution KC's will suck alot of power, but when on it will be just like the sun is shining!!!!!!

    Some of the guys around here use the inexpensive tractor headlights that are in a black rubber housing. They work great ....with the rubber housing they will withstand a lot of abuse etc. You can get them at TSC, or most any Tractor place, or Auto Parts stores.

    Another vote for tractor lights. You only need one. :D
