First glance it sure looks interesting.

A part from their mission page GOOOH will allow you to:

    1. Help select your Representative - while being considered yourself
    2. Hold your Representative accountable
    3. Replace career politicians - with true representatives
    4. Take the money out of the process

I'm not interested in the last part of #1 and I rather doubt they will be able to eliminate item #4 and #2 & #3 are a definite need.

    Thanks for the link.

On third look I'm not interested in this group that only wants to get rid of 435 career politicians and looking for new representatives with the GOOOH process irregardless of their positions. From their site "GOOOH is a process that does not support any particular position on any specific issue. Individuals who participate in the GOOOH process will each define their own platform via the Candidate Questionnaire." I think the much better approach would be with a stance with specific ideas of advocacy and not just promoting a oppositional stance allowing and accepting a full spectrum of ideas.

I would only support ideas for limited government were its role is to protect individual rights and property. All very much along the lines expressed by Thomas Jefferson that "A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government. "
