    Default Stirling engines coming back in style...


    Been a long time since I made on of these suckers. They been around a couple hundred years. Here is a video on how they work. Interesting stuff folks. I am trying to help those with cerebral deficiencies.

    Cane Pole, we have so much heat generated by the sun on top of our downtown bldgs it seems there would be a way to harness the heat to power a modified Stirling engine to provide air conditioning in the summer.
    Feasible?

    It is feasible. Experiments are being conducted by GE and others in the deserts. They real secretive about this stuff. Interesting stuff.

    really simple construction. This is a 2 piston rig. They can use 1 piston and a bellows.

    I find this very interesting. They just started construction on a big solar farm about a mile from my house.

    Thats because they haven't figured out how to charge us for sunlight yet.....or should i say implement a solar radiation usage tax:rolleyes:
