Anyone have a current report on the crappie bite in Weiss.
Hope to be able to find some fish 15-18th.
Any comments and ideas are appreciated.

    Exclamation Hey Joe ...

I don't know if you will see this in time .... but my sources say "bump the bottom" with jigs, along the channel edges. Watch for suspended fish, and adjust a pole or two to that depth, too. If that fails ... look to the docks - all you need to find is one or two docks with fish under them, and there could be a pretty good sized school under there. I know that this info is pretty generic ... but it comes from a guide & his brother (who also fishes it regularly). These guys fish Little River and the general area around it. Hope it does you some good. .......... luck2ya ......cp

ps - I'll be at Watts Bar Lake in East TN this weekend, and I've heard that they are still running deep there, also. Hopefully the weather will cool off the water, and heat up the action, soon.

check out my site and click on fishing report: crappypappy is getting and giving good info... also try using live bait with your bottom bouncing rig minnows are doing real good right now... Fishing is pretty good up in Spring Creek shooting docks just have to weed thru alot of small fish, docks in 6 to 8 feet of water seem to be the best. They where hitting a 1/32 oz blue body chartreuse tail Sunfly jig the best. The bigger fish are still out in the deeper water on river and creek channel ledges...
    hope this helps...

    Thanks CP and Kelly.
Will give your information a try.
We are going to be staying at JR'S on Little River.
Will plan to fish some in this area.
    More info later.
