Never tried the Iodine, but I had an old gentleman tell me he put food coloring in his minnow buckets, and it would change the color of the minnows. Heard of people painting the inside of their minnow bucket black, supposedly in order to make the minnows lighter in shade. May not be a shred of truth to any of it, but it makes for interesting conversation on a cold rainy day.
