    Default Away with politics.

This is supposed to be a crappie fishing site. There is a forum for politics for those that wish to start topics of political nature.
Sometimes I think there are posters here that don't even crappie fish. They seem to just want to push their aggenda on others. Just look at the posts of one person in particular. A couple thousands posts and 99% in the off topic forum. More so when someone dissagrees with them they start attacking personally. That is typical of that side. I understand that some will not agree with me but they have the right to their opinion. There is a time and a place for that - not here though.

There are only so many different ways to talk about fishing. I know when
a group of us on here gets together at a camp, somewhere late in the night
usually around the campfire politics end up talked about. We enjoy it,
besides talking about beer, trucks, chicks, oh yeah and fishing

With Obama's poll numbers dropping like a rock, the whiners chances are looking better and better for 2010. The party in power always loses seats in an off year election. The Dems know this, and that's why they want to rush everything through this year.

I wonder if he is talking about me.

Ok, I like braided line 10#, I fish minnows in the winter and jigs in the summer, all else is just a guess and good luck on your part.

When I fish with my buddies, we eventually talk about darn near everything, including politics. I like to hear what other guys who fish are thinking about...in addition to their fish stories. Fishing is our common bond....all else is just the icing on the cake. From what I've seen, most of the disagreements are pretty civil here (compared to other sites I've seen). I feel I could spend time on my boat with any of the fellows on here who have differing viewpoints than mine. I might just have to position my boat so they don't have the best access to the hot spots.

Cannot count how many times at boat launches. A group of fishermen in deep discussion of why that particular lake is hot or cold. Let an attractive lady stroll by and the focus of the discussion will immediately change. Don't think I would want to share a boat with a fella that was unimpressed with that particular display.

What I am trying to say while somebody has the need to type something you will not suffer if you choose not read it.
