duane, i haven't been up there in a month or so, but i would say your best bet is to hit up brush piles in water 15 to 25 feet deep. black/chart and minnows have worked well for me there in the past. the marked crappie beds are a safe bet to catch fish and they're easy to locate because of the green signs on the bank. good luck.

Duane unless you have your mind made up on going to Stockton, I would just make a detour to LOZ instead. They are hitting good all over the lake, had a limit sat in 4 hours, with one at 1-3/4 pounds. Outlaw and I are ready for another rematch so we can kick some butts again.

I need to find another fishing partner first. Maybe someone who knows the lake. Other than that I am game. I am always good for the first round after fishing.

I would say Bugman would be a good one since you have fished somewhat around PB #2.

i've always had real good luck near the green signs. i didn't say they were the best place to go, but a safe bet. where would you suggest?

i havent got to fish much this year and dont know where the fish are right now,
we have our toon at the state park marina. ive put plastic into the first cove on the
left as you are coming out of the marina cove on that side of the lake. i then put
bass buckets at every blue sign on the bank. all the way up to the bluff with a
camping area on top. the kids jump off of there for fun, i wouldnt do it for money.
at the bluff there is a blue sign and the water goes from 45 to 25 feet at the regular
levels. i think it is lower now. but there is a lot of plastic directly in front of that
sign. they are moving the breakwater out to the mouth of the cove. when they get
that done, me and my grandson will be heading out with a toon full of plastic to
set up some nightstalking spots off of the breakwater. these are good places to fish
but i dont know if the fish are there now. i hope to find out in a couple of weeks.
