Default Sorry For You Boys in TEXAS

CNN been showing lakes around Austin all day.
You all need some rain bad. Thankfully the drought never got that
here last summer. Why are they not getting work release prisoners
out there to clean up the trash, with the water down??????

Too bad some of the daily flash floods we get in Arkansas have not made it to Texas. We have not had one day this Summer close to 100 either. Makes me wonder what happened to all of the Global Warming hooey we used to hear. Ooops....I know what dominates the news these days. Better not bring it up or Pappy will be calling me down.

Yes Central Texas has really been in a bad way. Here is East Texas we had that before last year for a couple years and finally got rain back into the deal and we are getting a good bit the last few days with more coming.

However Central Texas will cost us all money because the cattle guys are having to sell out because the grass is dying and will not be back for a couple years. So beef may see some higher prices as will cotton and other things drown there.

Were averageing around 100degrees every day here in Idaho. We do have plenty of water. Fishing for crappie has been outstanding. Every trip 50 plus. The key is knowing what you are doing.

It is bad down here in South Texas too. Our lake is around 35%(lake Corpus Christi) full now. Need rain bad. We had 5 inches last of May. That is the only rain we have had since last August. It didn't last long. It is hot and windy every day. I would just like to see some cloudy days. All the boat ramps are closed. I have seen lots of fresh water drum and carp dead on the shore. Not many carppie. I think they have moved up to the dam. Ready for better times.

Use to live down there and it seems to dry up pretty often around there.

The key is knowing where to fish. Any Bozo can catch fish. MOAO.
