Default great day in the sunshine state

left at 2 am. arrived at the lake at 5 am. launched at 5:30. very windy with small
whitecaps. did not want to cross the lake , so we stayed to the north side & worked
our way along the side. could not hook up for the first hour & a half. finally anchored
and caught some cats. lake calmed down a bit so off we went in search for crappie.
found a tree that someone built a birds nest in & anchored up.from the first cast it was
on. stayed steady for 3 hours or so. white cap started comim so we headed in.
11:30 & the craft was loaded for the ride home.went up thru kernville . picked up ice
& packed them down. off we went for the 3 hour drive.had a great btime as usual &
    caught a few.
    water temp 68 to 75
    bait crawlers jigs mealworms
    depth 15 ft.
    2lb test small poles
red stingers with white tail 1/32 setup
seen a houseboat out in the area
    fishing 7-7-09
enjoy the pictures & GOD bless ya all
self employed & there ain't no work, that means its time to go fishin

2 questions. Is Freeman Junction at the bottom of Walker Pass? Kind of looks familiar. Does your deckhand hire out? I could use a good fillet hand.

That deckhand could retire from 1 years work on a party boat. The tips would be large. looks like a good trip overall.
