    Default thanks

Hey Riverman, I think in a week or so once the small tributaries clean up it will only get better!! I'm glad we finally got a little rain to flush the bugs and critters into the creeks so that those crappie can get fat by the time i venture up their to try to get them. Thanks for the info, do you ever fish up past silver creek in that lake on the left? I have been in their once and caught a few bream but no crappie, but it was more towards the first of summer. I probably will try to camp at the Lock and go in a couple of weeks. Do you ever fish the main river and if so what do you look for targeting? Thanks

    Thumbs up Good Fishin!!!

Went up there last week.Moon must have been wrong.Done some trolling and drop fishing.Caught a mess of bass is all.A friend went Sat. and had some luck. All I have caught up there seems to be running on small side.10 and 11 inches.River was muddy but lakes were clearing. Can't seem to get it all together,Sunny, warm,Cloudy, cold,Windy, muddy.Need some good weather and calmer days. Also need more vacation! PS That was in Oputtupa (sp.)Went further up Monday.Have not been in Turkey creek since last year.

    Talking More Vacation

I agree with your whole heartedely on the vacation idea!!! I agree, the weather still has not stabilized fully and looking on the radar right now looks like we are getting a little bit more runoff to deal with the next few days. RiverMan let me know when you are going to Claiborne I live down in the Mobile area, but i like exploring that part of the country, very nice folks up that way. I was thinking about this Saturday, looks like the river may rise a bit but start subsiding pretty quickly. I feel the thump already!!!

    Cool Decisions?

I am going to try and go Saturday.Lots of variables on choice of venue.I think they are having a bass tournement @ Coffeeville.Lots of rain today.Water level could be of some concern.High water does not bother me as much as muddy water. Will monitor rivers and make night before decision. Will try and get the wife out if weather permitting. She is fair weather perch jerker.Right now its a toss up.Hard not to return to the "Monday Hole".Just a long way.
