Thread: Any new reports on WEISS?

Was wondering if anyone has any new reports from down there?

Gettin' antsy are ya, SouthParks? :D Me too...I can feel the bite from up here in the Bluegrass too. I'm headed down this weekend for a few days staying around the Yellow Creek area. I hope the weatherman knows what he's talkn about.

fished all day today. Only caught 12. Had to work hard for them in different spots. Church house is dead,dead. no boats except bass fisherman and no fish stacked up like they were 3 weeks ago. The fish are on the move!!! Water temp was 55.

I hope yall have better weather and fishing than we had there this sat.

We'll be heading down in a couple of weeks for a few days of fishing. Staying over at Little Nose. Hope the bite picks up before then! Weather looks quite a bit warmer down there than here in the bluegrass!! Can't wait to get rid of this cabin fever!

Just got back from Weiss....fished hard but found em in yellow creek. Cold front over the weekend hurt the catch, but things started right back up the first of the week. We are ol fashioned, whatever it takes to catch fish!! Minnows on slip bobber was the name of the game.

We are going up this weekend staying in little nose area. You going down this weekend?

fished 14th, 15th 1/2 day sunday caught maybe 70 on lower end all big fish 12 to 15, 2 pounders. tried churchhouse sat. afternoon after wind blew us off lake down there, caught a few but they were so much smaller I just would'nt go back there. The guides are raking the lower end bad, I think I will go to neely henry.
