Logan Martin is on FIRE. If I can catch them, anyone can.

Water temp was 52 in the morning and went up to 58 by noon. I started out trolling double 1/16 oz jigs which run about 8 feet deep at .8 mph and caught only a couple of bass. I then tried fishing deeper (15 to 20 foot deep) using minnows. I caught a couple more bass. I did not see many fish on my fish finder except when I was in water less than 10 feet deep. The bell finally went off.

I set up my lines with single 1/16 oz jigs (run about 4 feet deep) and long line trolled in water from 5 to 10 feet deep. I then caught about 20 crappie between 10 am and 1 pm. I also caught some 3 lb stripe and 2 lb bass. I tried different colors and they all worked. I was trolling about .8 mph. Crappie were a mixture of very fat females and black males.
